NOMi Corporation was formed in 2014 as a result of the merger of Brickstream and NOMi Technologies.

Steve_Jeffery_HeadshotSteve Jeffery, President and CEO

Steve Jeffery is a veteran of the technology industry with 33 years of experience gained in Europe and North America. His career includes positions at global multinationals including Hewlett Packard and IBM. In 1994 Steve relocated from the Silicon Valley to Georgia where he built two start-up organizations, SQL Financials and Clarus Corporation taking each public in 1998 and 2001.

Steve has held a variety of executive management positions in software and hardware companies, including CEO, Chairman, and General Manager as well as executive positions in Sales and Marketing. This wide range of experience has enabled him grow early stage companies to success. Steve has also been very successful in working with the Venture Capital and Public markets to raise equity.

Steve’s experience includes driving strategic acquisitions and the successful divestiture of a number of business units. He is a former president of TAG, one of the nation’s largest statewide technology associations, and holds several Board positions. Steve holds an honors Bachelor degree in Business from Sheffield Hallam University in the U.K.

Amir_Hudda_HeadshotAmir Hudda, Chief Strategy Officer

Amir is a technology entrepreneur who has successfully created and nurtured four startups, raised over $50M in venture capital and completed 7 M&A transactions in the last 20 years.

Amir founded Brickstream in 2000 and returned in 2014 as Chief Strategy Officer of NOMi. In the interim, Amir was Founder & CEO of Naaya (game-based education for K-5), CEO of Apptix (SaaS messaging and collaboration for SMBs), and the Founder and CEO of Entevo (sold to Bindview).

Mr. Hudda holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from PICT, University of Pune, India. He was born in Mumbai, India and currently lives in Washington, DC.

team-marc1Marc Ferrentino, Chief Marketing Officer

Prior to NOMi, Marc was the Chief Technical Officer for SaaS at BMC Software. Marc was responsible for the SaaS strategy across all of the BMC product lines. Before BMC, Marc was the Chief Technical Architect for Salesforce.com. He held several positions with Salesforce.com including roles in R&D, Customer Success, Sales, and Enterprise Strategy. Marc’s responsibilities ranged from early stage product development, evangelism, and helping develop Salesforce.com’s Collaboration and Platform strategic direction. Marc also serves on the advisory board of WorkMarket, Payfone, Breadcrumb POS (acquired by Groupon), and SalesPredict.

Prior to Salesforce.com, Marc served as the Vice President of Engineering at Vettro Corp. Marc also served as Vice President of Development at InternetCash.com. Over the course of his career, Mr. Ferrentino has held technology positions at Goldman Sachs and Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer.

Marc holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has participated in the M.A. of Statistics program at Columbia University.

Brickstream's Ralph CrabtreeRalph Crabtree, Chief Technology Officer

Ralph Crabtree has 25 years of experience in the definition, implementation, and delivery of high-tech software products.
Crabtree was the primary creator of the enabling technology and software products on which Brickstream was founded. Prior to Brickstream, Crabtree held various advanced research and development positions at NCR Corporation.

For the past 15 years, Crabtree has focused on the application of image-understanding technologies to commercial solutions that include people tracking, video surveillance, and document recognition. Crabtree is the co-inventor of ten patents. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University.

Steve_Hornyak_HeadshotSteve Hornyak, SVP Global Retail Big box and Grocery

Steve Hornyak has been involved in the technology, service and capital market business sectors for the past 24 years. His career includes executive and management positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Oracle, SQL Financials, Clarus, Riverbrooke Capital, Pareto Principals, and Brickstream. As a strategic executive leader in SQL Financials and subsequently Clarus Corporation, Hornyak was involved in the process of taking both companies public. His management experience includes sales, marketing, alliances and acquisitions. Additionally, he has significant experience in the areas of capital raises, cash management, forecasting and operational growth of fast growing and start-up companies. Hornyak holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business from Virginia Tech.

As Vice President of Business Development for Brickstream, he is responsible for all sales, business development, channel partner development and direct target account sales globally.

Corey CapassoCorey Capasso, SVP North America Retail Specialty and Malls

A founder of NOMi, Corey is a serial entrepreneur who, prior to NOMi, co-founded Spinback a social commerce and analytics platform for product sharing online. Thirteen months after its creation, in May 2011, Spinback was acquired by Buddy Media. Fourteen months later, Buddy Media was acquired by Salesforce.com.

Prior to Spinback, Corey co-founded Exchangehut, a student-to-student ticketing platform, which was acquired by CDI American in 2008. Previously, during his freshman year of college, Corey conceived the idea of flavored plastic and in conjunction with A. Schulman Inc. developed, commercialized, and patented the technology in 22 countries. Leveraging the flavored plastic technology, Corey also co-founded MoGo Sport, a flavored mouthguard company. MoGo products today are in over 5,000 retail locations and are distributed in over 15 countries.

Wesley BarrowWesley Barrow, Head of Strategic Markets

Wesley Barrow is a veteran enterprise software executive who most recently spent 2.5 years with Buddy Media before starting NOMi. As Buddy Media’s #1 revenue producer, Wesley helped scale its business from 40 to 300 people through agency partnerships and sales. Wesley’s top clients spanned across automotive, CPG, retail and pharma verticals including companies such as Ford, GM, Toyota, Unilever, Kraft, GSK, Shell, Petsmart, MetroPCS and many others. In August 2012, Buddy Media was acquired by Salesforce.com for $745 million.

Prior to Buddy Media, Wesley was the Director of Business Development at Reality Digital where he structured deals with entertainment and brand clients including Pepsi, YouTube and MTV. Before that he worked in Corporate Consulting for the William Morris Agency and has also held various roles at companies such as Akimbo, Comcast and E! Entertainment. Wesley holds a B.A in Cinema Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Art WalshArt Walsh, SVP Operations

Art Walsh is a senior executive with more than 35 years’ experience involving consulting, senior operating roles, project management, start-up/IPO management, M&A activities and divestitures. He has a strong background in finance and accounting, human resources management, information systems, office services, facilities management, cost management and contract administration.

Art has held senior executive and management positions at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Wilson & McIlivaine Law firm, SQL Financials, Clarus Corporation, eRM Ventures, Endavo Media and Brickstream. This wide range of experience has enabled Art to provide the leadership necessary to help develop and grow successful businesses.

During Art’s career, he has also had significant experience working with Venture capital and private equity companies to raise growth capital. As the head of NOMi operations, he is responsible for professional services, customer support, logistics, IT, and facilities. Art graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University.

Todd JarvisTodd Jarvis, Vice President Global Channels

A seasoned senior sales and business development executive, Todd Jarvis has over 15 years of experience building and managing profitable international direct sales and channel sales organizations for industry leading software companies including Clarus Corporation and Roadnet Technologies. Having lived and worked in both Europe and Asia, Todd has successfully established and staffed subsidiary companies responsible for sales, customer service and technical support and has a demonstrated track record of developing strategic alliances with global and regional resellers and system integrators that generate sustained software and services revenue and profit growth in international markets.

Todd began his career in management consulting having worked at both Deloitte & Touche and Accenture. Todd has a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Iain CurrieIain Currie, Vice President Sales Engineering

As a member of a large corporate research and development facility, Currie began working with Brickstream’s technology prototype in 1996. Iain has been with Brickstream since its inception and has been a significant contributor to its growth.

As head of Value Development, Iain is responsible for helping the company’s customers realize maximum benefit from the behavior intelligence they are capturing using NOMi technology.

Currie has 23 years experience in software development and professional services in the high-tech industry across Europe and North America. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tayside University in the United Kingdom.

Adam_AgressAdam Agress, Vice President Customer Success

Adam has been intimately involved in the in-store analytics market for nearly 15 years.  After being exposed to video-based tracking systems while at NCR Corporation, Adam was hired by Brickstream Corporation shortly after its inception.  During his tenure at Brickstream, Adam played an integral role in the company’s growth while serving in leadership positions in Professional Services, Operations, and Sales before his current role leading NOMi’s Customer Success Organization.

As Vice President of Customer Success, Adam leads the teams responsible for planning, executing, and supporting the successful realization of the NOMi platform and its related services while proactively ensuring that customer goals are achieved.  Adam holds a B.S. in Computer Science with honors from Georgia Tech and an M.B.A. in Management from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.
